Green peas pate with horseradish

- 200 g fresh (frozen) green peas
- 200 ml water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 50 ml sour cream
- 1-2 tsp grated horseradish
- Black pepper, salt
- Bring the water to the boil, add the sugar and salt, blanche the green peas for 2 min
- Drain the water (reserve 50 ml) and place the green peas into the blender
- Add in 50 ml water back to the green peas and pulse for 3-4 seconds
- Cool down for a while, add in the sour cream, horse radish, pepper and stir well
- Serve with the rye bread slices
Thoughts and Ideas
You can take low fat cream instead of 50 ml water. I used ready-made horseradish with vinegar.
