Salmon in soy sauce

Introduction

This is one of the best recipes for salmon in soy sauce, which I have ever met. It is scrumptious marinade, which not only makes the fish tasty and juicy, but still, thanks to the citrus noticeably softens an odor of salmon. This dish can be prepared not only with salmon, but any other fish suitable for baking.

Salmon in soy sauce

Serves for 6

  • 2 salmon fillets with skin (about 1 kg each)
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • 1 orange (sliced)

MARINADE

  • 3 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 3 small hot peppers (chopped seeds removed)
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 lemon (zest and juice)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Mix all the marinade ingredients. Make the skin of salmon shallow oblique incisions (3-4). Fold the two large sheets of foil on each other. Place on foil salmon skin side down.
  • Put the fish slices of lemon and orange; pour half of the marinade to cover the top second fillet. Tie together fillest in a few ground thread.
  • Pour the marinade over the fish rest. Wrap in foil and put in refrigerator at least 4 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 200 C. Place the salmon in the ovenproof dish or pan, to reveal a little foil on top and bake for 45 minutes.
Thoughts and Ideas

As I wrote above, this can be used not only for salmon, but also any other fish, suitable for baking. Last time I prepared sea bass with excellent result. For my taste is quite enough to cover the fillet just with orange. As for lemon, it turns out very sour and acid enough already in the marinade. Of course, it all depends on personal taste.
