Meat balls with apples in citrus and honey glaze

- 500 g ground meat
- 1 pack Knorr onion soup
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 medium-sized apple
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- Salt, pepper, spices
GLAZE
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- Peel the apple, grate using fine grating surface, squeeze out the excess of the juice
- In a food processor combine the ground meat, apple and other ingredients, pulse several times
- Place the meat to the fridge for 20 min
- Form the balls, arrange on a baking tray covered with the parchment paper and bake for 15 min at 225C
- In a bowl combine all ingredients for the glaze, brush the meat balls and return to the oven for 5-7 min
Thoughts and Ideas
Those mat balls could be a main course or as an appetizer, served on skewers with a dipping sauce.
I bake the meat balls in the silicone mould for ice. Spoon them with the ice-cream spoon.
