Pancakes with cider

Introduction

This is a French recipe for the pancakes prepared with the apple cider. The pancakes could be sweet or savoury.

Pancakes with cider

  • 350 g flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 700 ml apple cider
  • Whisk the eggs a bit, add in the cider, sugar and salt
  • Continue whisking sieve in the flour to make a batter
  • Put the batter to the fridge for 40-60 min
  • Fry the pancakes on the butter or vegetable oil
Thoughts and Ideas

Instead of the wheat flour you can take a buckwheat flour. I increased the amount of sugar to 1 tbsp. I served the pancakes with the shrimps, zucchini and leek stuffing.
