Wholewheat pancakes

- 500 ml milk
- 3 eggs
- 100 ml wholewheat flour
- 150-200 ml AP flour
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder (optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- Sift 2 types of flour, salt and baking powder into a bowl
- Whisk the eggs with the sugar, add gradually the milk
- Whisking constantly add in the flour mixture to get the lump-free batter
- Pour in the melted butter
- Cover and leave for 30-40 min
- Heat the oil (butter, drawn butter) in a pancake pan, ladle the mixture in and fry the pancake for 1-2 minutes on each side until nice and golden
- Repeat to make further pancakes
Thoughts and Ideas
You can add more sugar if you like your pancakes to be more sweet. I don’t add the baking powder.
